[Korea] Free tour program to four of Seoul’s notable palaces!

Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is to offer a special experience program during the upcoming Royal Court Culture Festival week (May 1-10, 2015) for visitors from overseas and residents with foreign nationality.

This tour is specially designed to introduce Korea’s traditional attractions and give insights to royal culture by visiting the four most popular palaces (Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace) and Jongmyo Shrine, all located in the heart of Seoul. Only 100 lucky applicants will enjoy the free admission to all these sites as well as special gifts.

Moreover, people who collect more than two stamps during the tour will receive exclusive advantages including free tickets to a K-Pop hologram concert, and first-row seats to the media façade show, taking place at Gwanghwamun Plaza.

Applications are being accepted until April 28, 2015. To apply for the event, download the attached files below and email the completed forms to min1116@knto.or.kr.

  • - Meeting date and time: May 5, 2015 (Tue) at 16:00
  • - Meeting place: Ticket booth at Changdeokgung Palace
  • - Free gift: T-shirt, stamp tour leaflet, city tour bus ticket, inclusive admission to the major palaces
  • - Tour route (for group tour): Changdeokgung Palace → Changgyeonggung Palace → Deoksugung Palace → Gyeongbokgung Palace (Heungnyemun Gate)
  • - The number is limited to first 100 applicants: Free city tour bus package (50 people), Group tour with English commentator (50 people) / First-come, first-served basis.

* Participants with city tour bus package can freely browse venues regardless of the schedule during the program; however, meeting time and place are the same as for group participants.

      ※ Non-selected applicants will not be contacted.
    • ③ For the program participants, visit the event booth on the day of the event and show the staff your registration number and passport (or copy of passport) to receive your admission ticket.
