Korean Folk Village’s Hangawi Festival until Sept. 29

 

Photo credit: Korean Folk Village In celebration of Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day), Korean Folk Village will be holding its annual Hangawi Festival from September 12 to September 29, 2015. The festival features a wide range of events including traditional performances and folk games to treasure the seasonal customs. In particular, a ritual called seongju-gosa will take place, in which newly harvested rice is put in seongjudanji (a bowl) to give thanks for the good harvest.
