Eco & Nature Tour
As an area of unpolluted natural splendor, Pyeongchang is home to a variety of ecological treasures. Nature lovers visiting the area should be sure to visit the Korea Botanic Garden, Baegnyong Cave (over 500 million years old), and one of the refreshing valleys and/or forests in the region.

Korea Botanic Garden

Located at the entrance to Odaesan National Park, the Korea Botanic Garden is the first arboretum in Korea to be dedicated to Korean wild flowers and plants. The garden is divided into an indoor exhibition hall, an ecology arboretum, and colonies of wild flowers and has more than 1,000 species of native flowers, herbs, and bonsai. There is also an exhibit of photos showing the plants’ natural habitat.
