- Kimchi-jeon
- Ripe kimchi is added to a fl our batter then cooked like a pancake. Kimchi-jeon is a popular appetizer or side dish when drinking.
Ingredients
200g ripe (sour) kimchi, 3 tbsp vegetable oil, 50g green onion (opt.), 50g squid (opt.), 50g shrimp (opt.)Batter
200ml batter mix (sub.: fl our, pinch of salt and pepper), 200ml water, 1 eggDipping Sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tsp sugarMaking
- ① Remove kimchi fi lling and squeeze out some of the kimchi juice.
- ② Optional Clean and cut shrimp and squid.
- ③ Make batter and add 1 and 2.
- ④ Make dipping sauce.
- ⑤ Oil pan and pour 3 using a spoon. Cook over medium heat.
